My name is Emanuel Berg. I would like to apply for a
job as a programmer.

Many programs that I've written are available at my
home page: \url{http://user.it.uu.se/~embe8573}. There
you can find programming languages like assembler, C,
C++, Elisp, and Perl; text processing with \LaTeX,
\texttt{roff}, HTML, and CSS; web programming with CGI
and PHP; database management with SQL; as well as
screenshots and documentation.

I have a bachelor degree in Computer Science from
Uppsala University. I did my degree project for
Professor Per Söderberg
(\href{mailto:per.soderberg@neuro.uu.se}{per.soderberg@neuro.uu.se})
at Akademiska sjukhuset in Uppsala (a hospital that
also carries out research and education).
Documentation, screenshots, and complete VBA/SQL
source code are available on the homepage.

I use the Debian GNU/Linux distribution. I've used it
for several years and put countless of hours on
configuration and extension --- in Elisp, C, and the
bash script language (now zsh). Tools are important.

I am a creative man of action and problem solver. I
know that straight communication is the key to working
with other people. I have great work habits: I am
focused and methodical.

My experience includes different technical systems:
from programming and database management to the
configuration and tweaking of operating systems. This
experience has given me the ability to identify the
``under the hood'' workings: I am able to quickly get
acclimatized even in an unfamiliar technical setting.
