How to install:

    Just one thing: compile writevt.c and put in your $PATH (see FILES)

How to run:

    perl notes.pl <db> <login> <password>

    perl       - the interpreter
    notes.pl   - the source file

    <db>, <login>, and <password> are referred to as

    $db_name  ($ARGV[0])
    $db_login ($ARGV[1])
    $db_pass  ($ARGV[2])

    at the very top of notes.pl
